Qualifying Type

Qualifying can be scored two ways:

  • Rocket Round — only the single best qualifying result counts.
  • Points — results across rounds are scored to points, and a specified number of the worst rounds can be dropped from the total.

The way each round's result itself is measured (fastest lap, best consecutive laps, and so on) is set by the Qualifying Format.
