Event Mode

A Sensible Laps event runs in either Basic or Advanced mode.

Basic

One set of options applies to all divisions in the event. Changing an option changes it everywhere — for example, set Christmas Tree format and every division runs Christmas Tree.

Basic mode is quicker to set up and is right for most club events.

Advanced

Each division defines its own options, so different divisions can run different formats, qualifying types and race lengths in the same event.

Note

An event is automatically switched from basic to advanced if you do something that makes divisions differ — for example adding an LCQ to one division (see Division Mode).
